Be safe about trading. When you give someone gold there's no sure way to reverse it if they don't want to give it back.

Don't make a trade for an unfamiliar item if you are a newbie in the game. There are people out there who will rip you off.[Hopefully not in this guild.] Here's some general pointers:

Blue Items: No more than 100g, these usually go to the Merchant.
Purple Items: If you are lucky, in Ascalon you can get 250-400. Generally they aren't worth much to anyone but newbies.
Gold Items: These can fetch a price upwards of 5k, down to about 500g. Know what your trading for req9 is worth more than req6. Know max damage.
Green Items: Usually worth the most. Look these up as prices can be anywhere. One for 2k is very good, yet some can be 15k. Perfect ones are sometimes even more! Ask for a price check on the forums.

ALWAY CHECK THE DATE OF POSTED TRADES. Just because yesterday someone had it doesn't mean today they do.
